Maybe his workout video helped after all.
According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Lions defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker is on his way to Detroit now, and is expected to re-sign with the Lions this afternoon.
Walker missed the final 12 games of last season after breaking his leg and dislocating his ankle, but recently sent out a video of himself doing drills, indicating he was recovered.
He was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent, and would have likely drawn some interest, but apparently the Lions have shown enough interest to get him to come back there without testing the market.
