Chris Long takes his world tour to Atlanta next

For a guy who admitted he had played like doo-doo the last two years, Chris Long has a lot of people ready to say “I do.”

The Falcons announced they were bringing in the former No. 2 overall pick in for a visit tonight and tomorrow.

Long has already checked in with Dallas and Washington, dragging his bait around on a pass-rusher market that is rapidly dwindling.

If you overlook the last two years of his career, Long would be a good add. He had 50.5 sacks in his first six seasons, and was a solid player against the run. But he’s only added 4.0 sacks to that total the last two years, as injuries have limited him to 18 games.

Regarding Atlanta: Long has more than double the sacks of DE Kroy Biermann. “Someone” could be out of a job, if Long gives a good workout.

The overrated, living off your dads rep show hits the ATL next.

He should get another tat and put some more face paint on and continue his irrelevant career.

That’s harsh. Long was a good player for the Rams before the injuries set in. He’s motivated to show he’s still capable of high level play.

Long isn’t doing any working out, he’s eating steak and taking physicals. They’ll be meetings with front office and with coaches, but workouts are reserved for the players without film or have been out of the league or injured. Point being if a team asked him to workout he would probably laugh in their faces with this many suitors.

If you overlook the last two seasons of their careers, Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin are marquee quarterbacks.
