Poll finds most Ohioans think Ohio State would beat the Browns

With the Ohio Primary coming up, Public Policy Polling slipped in some amusing questions in the latest public opinion poll of Ohio. Including who Ohio residents think would win a game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.

The answer: Most Ohio residents pick the Buckeyes.

According to the poll, 57 percent of Ohioans think the Buckeyes would win, 23 percent say the Browns would win and the rest are unsure.

That answer is ridiculous, of course: The worst NFL team would easily beat the best college team. It would be a game of men against boys, and a game that the NFL team would win by a score of 49-0 or so.

Public Policy Polling also found that 72 percent of Browns fans wanted the Browns to cut Johnny Manziel, as they did today, and only 12 percent wanted them to keep him. And in a piece of good news for the Browns, the poll found that 42 percent of Ohioans call themselves Browns fans, while only 29 percent are Bengals fans.
