Free agent receiver Rod Streater is heading to Kansas City.

Streater has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Chiefs, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The contract could pay him up to $4.8 million.

The 28-year-old Streater, who spent the first four years of his NFL career in Oakland, visited the Jets and Patriots before agreeing to terms with the Chiefs.

After making the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2012, Streater had a very good rookie year, with 39 catches for 584 yards and three touchdowns. His second season was even better, with 60 catches for 888 yards and four touchdowns. But a foot injury limited him to just three games in 2014, and he played in only one game in 2015.

If Streater can stay healthy and return to his prior form, he can make a significant impact in Kansas City.
