Free agent offensive tackle Russell Okung visited the Steelers Sunday, and ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported Sunday night that the Steelers have offered Okung a contract.

Okung is serving as his own agent during this process. That offer would indicate the Steelers are prepared to move on from free agent left tackle Kelvin Beachum, who’s also been visiting with other teams.

ESPN reported that the Steelers also had visits lined up with Ryan Harris and Chris Hairston. A torn ACL limited Beachum to six games last season.

Okung, 28, has made 27 starts, all at left tackle, for the Seahawks over the last two seasons and has been the Seahawks’ left tackle when healthy since they drafted him in the first round in 2010. He also scheduled visits with the Giants and Lions.
