The Cardinals have a hole to fill on their offensive line after trading Jonathan Cooper Tuesday, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the team has a plan in place to fill it.

Per Rapoport, the Cardinals have offered free agent guard Evan Mathis a two-year deal after he visited with the team.

Mathis played last season with the Broncos after being released by the Eagles. He’s also played for the Panthers, Bengals and Dolphins.

Mathis, 34, is a two-time Pro Bowler. He made 12 starts at left guard in the 2015 regular season and started all three postseason games for the Super Bowl champion Broncos.
