Tannenbaum: This year’s Dolphins would beat the crap out of last year’s

Are the Dolphins better right now than they were in 2015? According to Dolphins Executive V.P. Mike Tannenbaum, it’s not even close.

Tannenbaum told WSVN that the additions of defensive end Mario Williams, linebacker Kiko Alonso, cornerback Byron Maxwell and safety Isa Abdul-Quddus mean the 2016 Dolphins “would beat the crap out of the 2015 Dolphins.”

Of course, a lot of teams beat the crap out of the 2015 Dolphins. But Tannenbaum thinks the Dolphins have shown in the first week of the league year that they’re better than the 6-10 team of last season.

“We feel like we are definitely making progress here,” he said on ESPN West Palm. “We are excited about the things that we’ve done.”

It’s about time for some excitement in Miami, where it’s been seven years since they’ve made the playoffs.
