The Cardinals traded guard Jonathan Cooper to the Patriots on Tuesday in a move that greatly improved their pass rush while also leaving them down another offensive lineman.

Right tackle Bobby Massie signed with the Bears as a free agent, backup tackle Bradley Sowell jumped to the Seahawks and guard Ted Larsen has been taking visits with other teams, so the team is going to need some reinforcements. They reportedly offered guard Evan Mathis a contract to be part of the new-look line and they’ve lined up visits with others.

Tackle Andre Smith said he’s planning to visit before choosing his next team and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that former Giants lineman Geoff Schwartz is also scheduled to meet with the team.

Schwartz was released by the Giants in February after two injury-wrecked years with the team. Schwartz, who saw time at both guard and tackle, missed 19 games, but shared some video on Tuesday that showed him moving well during a workout.
