Former Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau has lured a former pupil to Nashville.

The Titans have announced that linebacker Sean Spence has agreed to terms. Per a league source, it’s a one-year, $2.5 million deal.

During the preseason of his rookie year, Spence suffered a gruesome knee injury. He missed two full seasons due to the injury.

The third-round pick in 2012 drew interest from several teams, including the Dolphins and Jaguars.

Spence appeared in 15 games with four starts in 2015. In 2014, he appeared in 16 games, starting nine times.

Via the team’s official website, Spence will compete at inside linebacker and play a key role on special teams.
