The Bengals re-signed veteran offensive tackle Eric Winston earlier this offseason. Picking up a side job was even easier.

Winston was just re-elected president of the NFL Players Association, after running unopposed for the job.

This will be Winston’s second two-year term as the face of the players union.

The NFLPA also announced that four new players have been named to the union’s executive committee, with Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, Steelers kicker Shaun Suisham and Patriots free agent offensive lineman Ryan Wendell taking over spots on the board.

They replace Ryan Clark, Jay Feely, Brian Waters and Scott Wells on the executive committee.

The other members of the committee who remain include Lorenzo Alexander, Zak DeOssie, Matt Hasselbeck, Mark Herzlich, Adam Vinatieri and Benjamin Watson.
