Among the early decision made by the Broncos this offseason was one to part ways with long snapper Aaron Brewer after four years with the team.

The Broncos brought in several long snappers to work out for the team on Thursday and found one they liked enough to add to the roster. The team announced that they have signed Casey Kreiter to a one-year deal.

Kreiter has never played in a regular season game in the NFL. He spent the last two preseasons with the Cowboys and saw action in three preseason games each year before being released. He was the long snapper for the University of Iowa for three seasons.

Mike Klis of KUSA reported that former Browns long snapper Christian Yount was among the players who also tried out in Denver on Thursday.
