The Bills have signed several veterans as they’ve filled out their roster during the second phase of the free agency period and they’re meeting with another one on Thursday.
The team announced that guard/center Fernando Velasco is meeting with the team in Buffalo.
Velasco spent last season with the Panthers, starting once and making 10 appearances overall. He also spent the 2014 season with the Panthers, but spent June, July and August with the Titans before returning to Carolina after failing to make the cut to 53 players at the end of the preseason.
It was Velasco’s second stint with the Titans, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2008. If he signs with the Bills, he’ll likely fall into the mix for the reserve role vacated by Kraig Urbik when he signed with the Dolphins last month.
