Now we know why Bills coach Rex Ryan introduced Donald Trump last night at an event in Buffalo.

Clearly, Trump thought all of Ryan’s predictions came true.

Via John Healy of the New York Daily News, the Republican candidate for President may have misfired when recalling Ryan’s tenure with the Jets.

“You know, he won championships in New York,” Trump said. “The AFC, I think, twice.”

While Ryan called his shot often, he never made a Super Bowl, and only advanced to the AFC Championship Game twice, losing to the Steelers and the Colts.

While that’s enough to justify hanging a banner in Indianapolis, it is not, in fact, a championship of anything.
