The strangest story of the night undoubtedly has come from Mississippi tackle Laremy Tunsil, whose Twitter account was hacked with video of a guy who appears to be Tunsil smoking a bong through a gas mask. The initial suspect was his stepfather, who sued Tunsil for assault on Wednesday.
Tunsil’s stepfather has denied it via comments to TMZ.
“I don’t know nothing about no video,” Lindsey Miller said. “I’m not even watching the draft.”
Miller then provided a more general denial, vouching for his own character.
“I was a Red Cross volunteer of the year,” Miller said. “I would never do anything like this.”
Though we don’t know who hacked Tunsil’s account, Miller’s explanation isn’t very convincing. Apart from the triple negative in his first comment, whether he’s watching the draft or does volunteer work means nothing when it comes to whether a man who clearly has an axe to grind with Tunsil tried to sabotage his draft stock a day after clearly trying to do that by suing him.
