Broncos sign both their sixth-round picks

The Broncos signed seventh-round punter Riley Dixon on Wednesday and they kept the ball rolling on Thursday by moving on to their sixth-round picks.

The team announced that fullback Andy Janovich and safety Will Parks have both agreed to four-year contracts. Five Broncos draft picks, including first-round quarterback Paxton Lynch, remain unsigned.

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak has talked about using a fullback more often during the 2016 season, which would seem to help Janovich’s efforts to make the club. The team also claimed former Saint Toben Opurum off waivers and both men will also need to make contributions on special teams if they’re going to stick around.

Special teams will also be a good route for Parks to take to the 53-man roster come September. Third-round pick Justin Simmons and veteran Shiloh Keo will join him in the competition for backup spots.
