When it comes to Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor and alleged violations of the law, L.T. is usually the one posing for the mug shot. This time, he’s the alleged victim.

According to TMZ, the wife of Taylor faces domestic violence charges after allegedly attacking Taylor on Thursday.

Lynette Taylor, per the report, admitted to throwing an object at Taylor’s head, causing a three-inch laceration. At one point, Lynette Taylor allegedly said, “Yeah, I beat [his] ass. I made him bleed.”

Initially, she denied going after Lawrence Taylor, saying, “That’s a lie. My husband is a 300-pound linebacker.”

She also allegedly cursed at police and tried to strike them with her arms and legs, which resulted in a charge of resisting arrest. As to the domestic violence charge, Lawrence Taylor reportedly doesn’t want police to prosecute.

Lynette Taylor previously was arrested for domestic violence at least three times, in 1991, 2007, and 2008. She married Taylor in 2007.
