Panthers defensive tackle Kawann Short hasn’t felt like volunteering for extra work while his contract is being negotiated, but he’s looking to make more money, not give it away.

According to Bill Voth of Black and Blue Review, Short reported to Bank of America Stadium this morning in advance of tomorrow’s mandatory minicamp.

Short had stayed away from recent OTAs, an easy message to send while they work on what should be a massive contract extension.

But rather than be fined $76,580, he’s going to be there this week when the Panthers convene for a three-day minicamp.
