Just as the Chargers may be inching toward moving out of San Diego, the Eagles have moved in. Well, some of them.

Via Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com, a group of Eagles led by quarterback Sam Bradford (who not long ago wanted to be in any city other than Philadelphia) has traveled to San Diego for workouts during the gap between offseason workouts and training camp.

Others present include receivers Jordan Matthews, Josh Huff, T.J. Graham and possibly Rueben Randle, tight end Zach Ertz, and running back Darren Sproles, whose NFL career began in San Diego a decade ago.

But Bradford isn’t the only quarterback present. Chase Daniel and rookie Carson Wentz also are there.

Bradford’s gesture underscores that the ugliness following the team’s decision to trade up to the No. 2 spot in the draft to secure Wentz has subsided, and that Bradford accepts the reality that, in the year-to-year proposition that is the NFL, this year is probably Bradford’s last year with the Eagles. He’s apparently intent on making the most of it.
