The Bengals lost first-round pick William Jackson to a torn pectoral muscle this week and Darqueze Dennard is dealing with a sprained ankle, leaving the team a little shorthanded at cornerback.

They addressed that on Wednesday by bringing cornerback Corey Tindal back to the 90-man roster. Tindal was waived last month shortly after he was robbed while playing in a poker game in West Virginia.

Tindal initially signed with the Bengals in May as an undrafted free agent after finishing his time at Marshall. Tindal had 198 tackles, five sacks and three interceptions during his collegiate career.

On Tuesday, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said that the team has had conversations with Leon Hall about returning to the team for a 10th season. Hall is reportedly visiting the Giants on Wednesday, however, and Tindal gives them a healthy body for practice at the very least.
