Brandon Spikes isn’t the only veteran addition to the Bills linebacking corps.

Agent Jordan Woy announced on Twitter that his client David Hawthorne has signed with the Bills as well. The moves come as the Bills wait for word on the severity of rookie Reggie Ragland’s knee injury. They are also without Kevin Reddick, who also has a knee injury, and Jamari Lattimore has missed time with a broken nose.

Hawthorne spent the last four years with the Saints, so he played for Bills assistant Rob Ryan when Ryan was the defensive coordinator in New Orleans. He was released by the Saints in February, but didn’t draw much attention on the market this offseason.

He had 33 tackles in 11 games last season and has starting experience dating back to when he was with the Seahawks in 2009.
