While it may be Olympics season, Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan isn’t a fan of seeing gymnastics brought to the practice field.

Especially when it involves his starting quarterback.

According to Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, Tyrod Taylor ran for a touchdown during practice on Monday that involved leaping over a defender and doing a flip into the end zone.

Ryan has called Taylor “a special talent.” Seeing Taylor somersault into the end zone isn’t a risk Ryan wants to see his starting quarterback take in practice in August.

Are you kidding me? Please don’t do that. ... He’s got to take care of himself,” Ryan said, via Rodak.

Taylor passed for 3,035 yards with 20 touchdowns and just six interceptions in 14 games last season. With E.J. Manuel and rookie Cardale Jones as the only other quarterbacks on the roster, Taylor’s health is a significant factor in the Bills’ outlook for the 2016 season. Getting injured flipping around the practice field would be inexcusable.
