The Bills have been losing players at an alarming rate.

Monday, they got one back after he lost a few things, specifically pounds.

Via Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, the Bills announced that running back Karlos Williams had passed his physical, clearing him to resume practice.

Williams has been on the shelf since reporting to OTAs overweight, and he didn’t help himself with a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. But they’ve maintained their belief in the second-year back.

Of course, they also went out and added Reggie Bush during Williams’ sympathy-weight absence, to make sure they had plenty of bodies in the backfield.

Other spots are getting, for lack of a better word, thinner. The Bills have lost linebackers Reggie Ragland and IK Enemkpali to torn ACLs, while dealing with a host of other injuries on defense including first-rounder Shaq Lawson’s shoulder problems.
