Titans General Manager Jon Robinson parted ways with a wide receiver that the previous regime selected in the second round when he traded Dorial Green-Beckham to the Eagles this week.

Green-Beckham wasn’t the only receiver that the Titans took early in the draft in recent years and another player who fits that description said finding meaning in the trade wasn’t difficult. Justin Hunter was a second-round pick in 2013 and said that Green-Beckham’s departure sent him a message that “you better get your stuff right” if you want to remain on the team.

“I feel like everybody is on the chopping block,” Hunter said, via the Tennessean. “We have a new G.M., and he didn’t draft too many people in here. Anybody could go at this point, and we are all fighting for a spot.”

Hunter was limited to nine games after fracturing his ankle last year and has 68 catches over the course of his NFL career. They’ve gone for an average of 16.4 yards, which is good for 10th among wideouts with at least 60 catches over the last three years, but coach Mike Mularkey says the team is looking for “consistency” if Hunter is going to remain on the roster.
