The Cowboys seemingly have one of everything at their new practice facility.
But they don’t have a locker for Rolando McClain, which could be a good sign about his future with the team.
According to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys have left a spot in the locker room for suspended defensive end Randy Gregory, but not for McClain, who has been suspended the first 10 games of the regular season for his latest substance-abuse policy violation.
Of course, Gregory had made some degree of effort to be part of the team, before checking himself into a rehab facility. McClain skipped most of the offseason work, and didn’t make the team plane to California for training camp.
Both are on the reserve/did not report list, but giving one of them a spot in the locker room and not the other should give some indication of how they view the two players. The Cowboys are well-known chance-givers, but McClain might have used all of his up.
