Report: 49ers fullback Bruce Miller arrested for punching two men

AP

The 49ers have another law enforcement problem on their hands, as one of their players has been arrested on the eve of the regular season.

According to KTVU, 49ers fullback Bruce Miller has been arrested for assault this morning, after trying to get into a hotel room that was not his.

The report said Miller tried to check into the Fisherman’s Wharf Marriott Hotel last night, but was told there were no vacancies. He returned later and knocked on a guest room door. When the guest told him he had the wrong room, Miller allegedly attacked the man and his 70-year-old father, who was also in the room.

The two men were later taken to the hospital, and Miller was later arrested after fleeing the scene.

Last year, he was arrested on spousal battery charges, but pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor disturbing the peace charge when his fiance said there was no physical contact.

    Typical Santa Clara team.

    Time to test that fool.

He had a penalty in the last game that nullified a big play, and a dropped pass. He was supposedly on the bubble before that stuff happened. I remember Jed York saying the 49ers wanted to “win with class” when asked why they fired Jim Harbaugh. I think Jed needs to have a “class” discussion with the personnel department, and don’t let them tell you it’s up to the coaches to keep the players in line. Bill Walsh and George Seifert never had to keep players in line because they only signed high character players. Even when a HOFer like Charles Haley got into too much trouble, they got rid of him. They won five Lombardi trophies with that philosophy. I know Jed is hard headed about wanting to do things his way, but maybe he should start listening to Uncle Eddie (HOFer) just a little bit.

Another Trent Balkee find with Reg flag past. I can’t believe Balkee still has a job with Santa Clara. When they fire him this year he will be remembered for always drafting tweeners, guys with red flags, a over the hill Free Agent WRs.

Yeah, but does he stand for the Anthem, support police, and love ‘Murica? If so, he’s a ok for most PFT commenters.

Not that you should hit another dude between the age of 18 and 55 but it can be explained away.

You’ve got to be very ignorant to equate a civil protest with felony assault. 99 clicks in support of an ignoramus. I bet they’re all trump voters too.

This 9’er was shown the door by mgm’t. Kaep is making a contribution to his team.
