Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will not be charged after an investigation into a domestic violence accusation, according to Elliott’s father.

Stacy Elliott wrote on Twitter today that his son has been informed there will be no charges.

“My son has been vindicated! Truth has prevailed! If he had violated one of OUR core values I personally would have had him charged!” Stacy Elliott wrote.

Ezekiel Elliott hasn’t commented on the matter today, and authorities have not publicly announced whether or not he will be charged, but Drew Davison of the Star-Telegram reports that prosecutors will not pursue charges against Elliott..

In July, the Columbus city attorney’s office confirmed that there was an open investigation after a woman accused Elliott of physically abusing her.

That may be true, but I’ll need to wait until he actually plays a few games before I come to that conclusion.

If this is true, she needs to go to jail for filing a false report. I do recall that is a crime for falsely accusing someone of a crime.

Ahsum, what’s the bump in her bank account look like? Zeke can now use his time for more important things like getting high with Michael and Hollywood Henderson. Go COWBOYS!!

Doesn’t mean the report was false, it just means there’s not enough evidence to charge him.

This is a flattering pic. He has an extremely large head and that pic makes it almost look normal sized. I know you can’t lead with the helmet when tackling. What about when running and about to be tackled? I’ve got the feeling he is gong to absolutely punish some cornerbacks and safties during his career.

More like hush money was paid to make this go away.

No. It means it was false. There were other witnesses in the car that also supported his story. The girl was a liar, and prosecutors don’t waste their time on liars.

Speaking of evidence, there was plenty of evidence when Dallas played up in Seattle where Chancellor had his fill of Elliott. Chancellor gave him his best shot, and Elliott bounced off of him and kept going. I am sure you remember. Elliott put up just under 7 yards per carry against the Seattle ones.

    Welcome to the rookie, Chancellor…..

There’s a lot of traps out there but first this then the visit to the smoke shop makes you think there will be something else, soon, and it will stick.
