The Saints continue to churn their roster the week of the opener, with roster moves they could have made months ago.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Saints are filling the roster spot created by waiving quarterback Garrett Grayson by bringing back guard Jahri Evans.

The Saints let Evans go for salary cap reasons this offseason, and he had some workouts and a short stint in Seahawks camp. But other than saving the money, not much has changed for the 33-year-old blocker.

The Saints brought him back yesterday for a workout, at which point they realized they could use him after all.
