As expected, Ravens list Dumervil, Dixon and Powers as out

As expected, the Ravens listed outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil, cornerback Jerraud Powers and rookie running back Kenneth Dixon as out for Sunday’s season opener on their first Friday injury report of the season.

Dumervil is still recovering from a foot injury, whil Dixon is expected to miss the first month of the season but could compete for carries when he comes back.

Powers is listed on the team’s depth chart at left cornerback. Fellow cornerback Shareece Wright, the listed starter is questionable with a foot injury. The Ravens kept six cornerbacks on their 53-man roster, so the team has depth at the position it hasn’t had over the past two years.

Besides Wright, the Ravens listed three other players as questionable: Tight ends Dennis Pitta (finger) and Maxx Williams (shoulder), and offensive lineman John Urschel (knee). Pitta is expected to play Sunday vs. the Bills for the first time since Sept. 2014.

Dumervile is the next Perriman, just you wait. He’ll be ‘week to week’ until he finally goes on the IR for the rest of the year. I doubt he plays a snap this season. You heard it here first.

How can Dumervile be the next Perriman when he has already had a pretty successful career? Perriman has had one pre-season appearance.

Bill Belichick is a senile certified cheater who would have won nothing if he had not cheated in everything he did.
Mike Tomlin is just too stupid to be a NFL coach. Take away Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown like the Ravens lost Flacco and Steve Smith Sr. and Tomlin goes 0 and 16 every year.

You know you’re dealing with a genius when he can’t even spell the guy’s name right when it spelled correctly in the article he wants to be a troll on.

He may have been “trying” to make a joke – as in “vile”. Just trying ti help the little troll out🙂
Then again, he’s probably not clever enough to make such a clever joke

6 scrubs playing CB doesn’t mean you have depth. The CB position is one on which my Ravens have lacked talent for years.

Every team has a position that is a black hole. Only exception is the Browns. In years past, the whole team has been a black hole. I am actually thinking this latest regime might have a chance at post-season. They will continue to be “The Browns” until proven otherwise.

Sorry unibrow, Look at the Brown’s Number 1 draft picks since they became the “new” Browns. Horrible, horrible. They have to stop using the Street and Smith magazine and hire some scouts. Tim Couch? Johnny M.? Courtney Brown? Gerard Warren? William Green? Jeff Faine? Kellen Winslow? Braylon Edwards? Kamerion Wimbley? Phil Taylor? Trent Richardson? Barkevious Mingo? Justin Gilbert?
I guess they asked Ozzie about drafting Joe Thomas and he said pick him.

ravenmuscle, if you’re going to make a comparison, at least make the subjects comparable. On what planet does Flacco and Smith Sr = Big Ben and AB? That’s just dumb.

Ravens should offer to play with 10 men in order to give the Bills a chance
