As expected, Ravens list Dumervil, Dixon and Powers as out

As expected, the Ravens listed outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil, cornerback Jerraud Powers and rookie running back Kenneth Dixon as out for Sunday’s season opener on their first Friday injury report of the season.

Dumervil is still recovering from a foot injury, whil Dixon is expected to miss the first month of the season but could compete for carries when he comes back.

Powers is listed on the team’s depth chart at left cornerback. Fellow cornerback Shareece Wright, the listed starter is questionable with a foot injury. The Ravens kept six cornerbacks on their 53-man roster, so the team has depth at the position it hasn’t had over the past two years.

Besides Wright, the Ravens listed three other players as questionable: Tight ends Dennis Pitta (finger) and Maxx Williams (shoulder), and offensive lineman John Urschel (knee). Pitta is expected to play Sunday vs. the Bills for the first time since Sept. 2014.
