The Bengals will definitely be down one starter on Sunday with tight end Tyler Eifert still recovering from offseason ankle surgery and it looks like they will be without a key part of their secondary as well.

Cornerback Darqueze Dennard has been listed as doubtful for their regular season opener against the Jets because of the ankle sprain that has kept him from full participation in practice all week. Dennard was slated to man the slot, a key spot given how often the Jets like to target Eric Decker from that spot.

Josh Shaw is the likely replacement for Dennard with Adam Jones and Dre Kirkpatrick on the outside.

That’s the full extent of the Bengals injury report as the elimination of the probable designation means that teams don’t have to list other players from the injury report if they are expected to be in the lineup.
