Brees hot as Saints take first lead

Raiders-Saints has been a fun one, as advertised.

The Saints have scored on back-to-back possessions to take a 17-10 lead. A 15-yard Drew Brees pass to Brandin Cooks gave the Saints their first lead.

Brees has been hot. Through the game’s first 25 minutes, he’s 13-of-19 passing for 187 yards and two scores. Willie Snead has caught five of those passes for 84 yards, and rookie Michael Thomas has also been involved in the Saints’ passing attack.

It might take 30 — or more — to win this one.

I turned on the TV to watch the NFL Red Zone and it occurred to me that the players who opt not to stand up for our flag, and the NFL who opts not to protect their players in a consistent manner (Cam Newton), I turned the TV off. No more football for me until they get their acts together.

Sorry Panthers, WFNZ, Mike Florio, and Greg Cozell all of whom who I have followed faithfully.

PS: Red Zone now posts 4 games on the screen at the same time? That’s like trying to listen to A/C D/C, Lone Wolf, Mozart, and Joan Baez at the same time.AMF-Mitchell Mosher

Raiders have the talent to be better than they’re showing on defense.
As much as I like him, I’m starting to believe Norton is not the guy.
    They just don’t look prepared.
