The Cardinals haven’t been particularly sharp tonight.

But they have been timely.

The Cards took advantage of a second New England fumble to cut the gap to 17-14, with both their touchdowns coming off turnovers.

Cards running back David Johnson took it in from 1 yard out for the touchdown, keeping things close as we approach the fourth quarter.

The Patriots have been the sharper team offensively, other than the pesky fumbles. LeGarrette Blount’s turned a 10-point lead into a field goal margin in a hurry.

New England has called a fairly conservative game with Jimmy Garoppolo under center, but the turnover may force them to loosen the reins a bit.
