Jonathan Kraft: Tom Brady banner is coming down tonight

Jimmy Garoppolo is starting his first NFL game on the road.

But when he returns home, the Patriots interim quarterback won’t have to worry about the football version of Dr. T.J. Eckleburg looking down on him.

Via Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, Patriots team president Jonathan Kraft said on his pregame segment on 98.5 The Sports Hub that the banner of suspended quarterback Tom Brady at Gillette Stadium will be coming down tonight.

“From end of preseason to today, we wanted to symbolize the fact he is on everybody’s mind and we love him,” Kraft said.

Kraft said Brady would be the last one to want to call attention to himself, though the banner has gotten plenty of attention, with Saints coach Sean Payton showing his support last week.

Just another stupid move and the egg on the Kraft’s faces has already dried

Gee, Mr. Kraft, I’d like to thank you for the nice banner. Almost makes up for your throwing me under the bus for your billionaire boys’ club buddies and Ginger Roger. I hope with all my heart that you enjoy your new plum committee position.

Can I have it? I have a bare space on my living room wall that it would fit perfect in.

Of course it’s coming down, no way they were going to let Jimmy G take a snap with that looking down on him. It’s the right thing to do, just like putting up was. It was a sweet “Have a nice day Roger” gesture though.

Why is it no surprise to see smails and ari as the first couple of posters on a Pats article. Advanced patsonia, it’s sad really.

In related news, the Colts will be taking down their ” I Suck For Luck ” tanking participation banner.

I’m pretty sure that after spanking it good and hard, they feel that posting negativity on Pats’ columns does some kind of black magic on the team. I hear those are both symptoms of Patsonia, a/k/a Patsitis.

Kraft was taped at pregame tailgate saying he agreed with the fans shouting Fire Goodell

judge mattwalshvideo smails is the most pathetic football fan ever, if he even is one.

Must be a Bills, Jets, or Dolphins fan, whose team is already fighting for the bottom of the division.

Once again I’ll state for the record I’m not Matt Walsh video

    Hey, You “Honor”
That hat looks good on you.

A TX sized Crybaby, that’s who you are.
No one cares who you are or are not.
Crybabies are insignificant and have ZERO impact.
That’s who YOU are. Keep wasting your time and energy on virtual regional terrorism.
It really hurts us all here in NE. Really. It does.

I hope it’s not because the league office gave him a phone call. Love Belichick and Brady but not sure I’d want any handshake deals with little Kraft.
