Not all Seahawks players were aware of the pregame plan for Sunday

On Saturday, Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin announced the team’s plan for Sunday’s pregame ceremony: All players will stand with arms locked during the national anthem.

As one league source explained it to PFT, not all players were aware of the plan before it became public on Saturday.

That’s not to say there will be players who refuse to participate. Now that the cat is out of the bag, it will be awkward if any of them refuse to join in the Red Rover formation.

The point is that the decision regarding how all players will behave during the pregame ceremony wasn’t made by all players. It will be a surprise, however, if any of the players break ranks.

Did you know Russell Wilson is the best QB in NFL history through year four?

    Fact

Look at me, look at me, on this national day of remembrance. This veteran thinks it is disgusting.

Sounds like the locker room is in trouble … bad sign for the season … no unity.

I am so tired of hearing about this crap.

Stand, don’t stand, up to you and I don’t care.

Just don’t whine when you lose all your endorsements for this little SJW charade.

Man, NE takes up a lot of space in the land of 50¢ heads. Good thing there’s plenty of room for them.

League needs to put a stop to this nonsense, but Goodell is too much of a cat.

The real question is whether the Seahawks are going to do this group unity thing when they are getting ready to play in Superbowl 51 ?😉

You sit, kneel, lay down or whatever you nfl players think will help with racial inequality, on the 15 year anniversary of the largest scale terrorist attack on our country, INSIDE our country, to further your own agenda, and disrespect what the flag stands for, and symbolizes, then honestly your no better than the terrorists that committed the act!

    LMAO!

The Seahawks just gave me another reason to laugh at them. They’re a joke. This whole disrespect for the US is out of control and if it keeps up, no one is going to watch football because it’s way too much drama.

Football lovers will move on to another sport and all these losers kneeling and raising their fists in the air will be on the streets jobless.

Makes me LMAO that they disrespect this country and the flag but they’re playing American football and collecting fat paycheck from it.

If they were even remotely real or seriously cared about all this crap they would quit the NFL and go out and start some sort of civil right organization but they’re FOS which is why none of them will do it.

Real heroes aren’t in your face or only making a stink when the cameras are on them. Real heroes, true heroes, are silent.

Punk, you go with the huge caps LOL like a teen schoolgirl, but you aren’t laughing at all. Did you ever ask yourself why you type lol so much? Just a kid…once you stop you might get your point across without seeming like a 5th grader.

You aren’t laughing…at all…this disgusts you. Why the lol lmao lol….? It totally takes away from your post and makes me think some little kid is trying to talk at the adult dinner table.

Better than your team and it doesn’t matter who you root for. You could lie and pick anyone, seahawks are better.

Only an idiot hater would yell the seahawks are a crap team…so I guess that is you.

if you’re going to show team unity Baldwin you have to inform the entire squad of the plan so they can say yes/no I’m all in… I didnt like that he blabbed the plan prematurely and now teams playing before the Hawks already locked arms. pretty sure it was supposed to be a hawk thing ?

Wouldn’t it be ironic if the white players didn’t know

  18. 60for90 says: Sep 11, 2016 4:49 PM

I’m a big NFL fan but would like to remind the players that without fans you have no TV coverage, big contracts, and even full scholarships. Minorities have done well in making it big in professional sports and don’t forget who opens their wallets to attend the games. I get along fine without watching you (nfl) for 8 months a year and I’m sure I could survive 12 months a year without you.

Who said they don’t love their country or like it?

If my family or friends are doing something that’s wrong, I’ll step in and say something. Does that mean I don’t love my family and friends?

Some of yall need to broaden your world view and understanding some.

Not sure if you know this or not, but America has laws, law enforcement, and the justice system. It’s not law enforcement’s job to be judge jury and EXECUTIONER.

There is over 1,000 people killed by law enforcement every year.

Do the math, and law enforcement has killed more than 5 times as many Americans as the terrorists since 9/11. Far less than half of them weren’t armed with a gun.

I went to school with a guy named Kelly Thomas. He didn’t commit a crime, he complied, and he was still beat to death by 6 cops for 10 minutes. YouTube it you can watch them take his life. They all got off and walk the streets today.

Just because you don’t recognize that there is a problem doesn’t mean there isn’t a problem.
