A late touchdown pass from Derek Carr to Seth Roberts set up a two-point conversion pass from Carr to Michael Crabtree as the Raiders rallied for a 35-34 win over the Saints Sunday.
The Saints got the ball back with 40 seconds left and moved into Raiders territory, but Wil Lutz’s 61-yard field goal as time expired just missed to the left.
The Raiders scored 22 points in the fourth quarter and had touchdown drives that covered 60, 75 and 75 yards respectively.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees threw for 423 yards and two touchdowns. His 98-yard touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks in the third quarter was the longest scoring play in franchise history and made it 24-10.
But the fun was just starting as the teams traded big plays and scores throughout the fourth. Carr threw for 319 yards; Crabtree had seven catches for 87 yards and Amari Cooper had six catches for 137 yards.
Cooks had six catches for 143. Willie Snead led all receivers with nine catches for 172 yards.
The Saints are at the Giants next week. The Raiders host the Falcons.
