Saints could be bringing in Jake Stoneburner on Monday

With Saints tight end Josh Hill hobbled by an ankle injury, the team could be adding another body at the position as soon as Monday.

Per a league source, Jake Stoneburner may be officially joining the Saints. He played with the Dolphins in 2014 and 2015, and he has a strong relationship with former Miami interim head coach Dan Campbell, who now is a member of the New Orleans coaching staff.

Stoneburner worked out for the Saints last week. He spent time earlier this year with the Rams.

Stoneburner is a decent player. He needs work on Blocking, but should be a good edition to the Saints. Wish the Dolphins kept him over the Bums they currently have!

One can only laugh when keyboard warriors, who either never played the game or did and saw their “careers” top out in 7th grade, call pro athletes “bums”. They were the best players on their high school teams. You weren’t. They were one of the best players on their college teams. You weren’t. They have beaten the 1-in-53,400 odds of making it into the league. You’re not. Son, lazy, fat, stupid AND jealous is no way to walk through life. Dean Wermer!!

As a man, I was taught a very important lesson. Never say anything behind another man’s back that you would say right up in his face. I want to see the keyboard warriors go up to an NFL football player and call him a bum. You would tinkle yourself and hide in mommy’s basement for a month. Trolls…….
