So much for a sophomore slump.
Despite concerns regarding a passing game led by journeyman Shaun Hill, second-year wideout Stefon Diggs tied a career high with 103 receiving yards in Sunday’s win over the Titans in Tennessee.
He’ll follow that with a far less significant accomplishment: Joining Monday’s PFT Live on NBC Sports Radio and NBCSN.
Diggs will dial us up at 8:35 a.m. ET for a chat about his Week One performance plus whatever else comes up. Like, perhaps, an attempt to get him to tell me who the starting quarterback will be for Week Two.
He surely doesn’t know because the Vikings don’t know because coach Mike Zimmer has yet to make a decision. Whatever the decision on quarterback, it’s a given that Diggs is the best receiver on the team, and also one of the best young receivers in the NFL.
Catch the show at 6:00 a.m. ET on Sirius 213, XM 202, NBCSportsRadio.com, the NBC Sports Radio app. At 7:00 a.m. ET, we slide over to NBCSN.
