Arian Foster misses practice with hamstring injury

SEATTLE, WA - SEPTEMBER 11: Running back Arian Foster #29 of the Miami Dolphins rushes against the Seattle Seahawks in the first quarter at CenturyLink Field on September 11, 2016 in Seattle, Washington. (Photo by Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images) Getty Images

During his time with the Texans, running back Arian Foster had plenty of soft-tissue injuries — enough of them to be called out by the owner at one point. After one game with Miami, Foster has another one.

Foster didn’t practice on Wednesday, due to a hamstring injury.

Also missing practice on Wednesday were linebacker Jelani Jenkins (knee), defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (ankle), center Mike Pouncey (hip), and defensive end Mario Williams (concussion). Cornerback  Xavien Howard (knee) and receiver DeVante Parker (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis, and tight end Jordan Cameron (thigh) fully participated.

In his debut for the Dolphins at Seattle, Foster had 13 carries for 38 yards and three catches for 62 yards. Miami plays at New England on Sunday.

Maybe it was caused from kneeling during the national anthem?

Bad things have happened to every player who disrespected our flag

This is too funny. If he misses Sunday’s game, he should just give up playing football.

Yes, because no player has ever been injured who stood for the flag……….including Foster.

New England is going to go 4-0 in Brady’s absence. Seriously. This is funny.

    And so it begins…

  7. factpurveyor says: Sep 14, 2016 8:32 PM

    That’s a shame.
Because Pats fans, unlike Dolphins fans and fans of the other teams that support Brady suspension want their team to beat the best.

Anyone know when the NFL plans on publically releasing the PSI information that was collected during the 2015 season?

    Well that didn’t take long…..

    Keenan Allen – check
    Sammy Watkins – check
    Arian Foster – ???
    Ben Roethlisberger – ???
    Alshon Jeffery – ???

It is just a matter of time before Arian goes down. I will be shocked if Alshon does break in half soon as well. Shocked that Keenan got hurt.

Pats got plenty of injuries of their own plus a bogus NFL imposed in proven penalty against the greatest QB to ever play…. So spare me the woe is me Miami injury crap…

If it’s anything like Spygate it will take 9 – 10 years. And when they do, I imagine it will be a lot like spygate from patriot fans…..crickets.

And if you are referring to the Dolphins playing the patriots with Brady and beating the “best”, the Dolphins have won their last 3 out of 5 games with the patriots “best”. Maybe the ball pressure in the Miami heat hurts Brady’s ability to throw a football.

    Imagine that……

There we go. I was wondering when he would be hurt again. He should be about done with the season right around week 4 or 5

    Laughing out loud!

Disappointed to see this after just one game.
Not unexpected, but you’d hope this would be deeper into the season.
    But, on the bright side:
It made my morning to see how many Patriot fans felt the need to troll this story. Pathetic. Move forward.

Foster down with a soft-tissuer injury? Shocker.

it makes sense he might pull a hammy in the first game. They kept him out of a lot of work in Training Camp to protect him. They want him for the ENTIRE season. They have been very deliberate in how they have been rehabbing these players wit health issues.(Hope Parker comes back and has a big day)

Hopefully Ajayi has had time to remove his head from his ass and be a REAL Pro. One with something to prove and one that could take some of the load off Foster, so he can rest that hamstring.

I like the direction this franchise is going. I wasn’t a big Ross fan but hes starting to grow on me with his most recent transactions, hirings, stadium, etc. He wants to be a winner and I truly believe he hired a coach we can have around for a long long time!! FINALLY!!

    Phins Up!

Yeah, right. Two of those Dolphins wins came as the Patriots prepared for a Super Bowl run while the fish polished their golf clubs……get real.

If God said to me ” hey you Dolphin fan you have a choice. (A) every player on your team stands for the anthem but the patriots give you a right seeing too or (B) they all stand on their heads and your team gets a win”. I would have to say “Mr Shula let them stand on their heads and quite frankly I am disappointed you would ask such a question.

Foster wasn’t held out due to injury. Gase plans on having him skip practice every Wednesday. It’s all according to a plan.
