Yes, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has an ankle injury. No, he apparently won’t be missing the game. But, yes, it’s something that likely will affect him at the Coliseum on Sunday.

“I think really great performers find a way,” coach Pete Carroll told reporters on Wednesday regarding Wilson. “You don’t have to be 100 percent all the time to operate at a really high level. That’s part of what’s going on.”

This implies that Wilson will be less than 100 percent on Sunday against the Rams. It’s clear that he’s doing everything to get as close to 100 percent as possible.

“His attitude is as charged up as you can imagine,” Carroll said. “As always, he’s excited to prove that he can make this back and get back and all that. He’s half-crazy about proving it. So he’s good and his attitude is great.”

Wilson fully participated in practice on Wednesday, despite the injury. So his ankle isn’t great, but it could be good enough to get the job done in four days, especially against a Rams team that wasn’t able to score a single point against a much lesser defense on Monday night.
