Report: Breshad Perriman missed practice with “minor calf issue”

Wide receiver Breshad Perriman finally made his NFL debut in the Ravens’ 13-7 win last Sunday, but his absence from the injury list won’t extended into Week Two.

Perriman did not practice on Wednesday and Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the second-year wideout is dealing with a “minor calf issue.”

There’s no word on whether it’s minor enough that Perriman will be back on the field tomorrow or if it’s only minor in relation to the knee injury that kept Perriman from playing at all during his rookie season. Perriman also had a knee issue this offseason and summer that kept him off the field until the final preseason game.

There may be some connection between the knee problems and the current calf issue, although anything more specific about what all of it means for his Sunday status will have to wait for the next day or so.

All it took was one NFL game and the dude is hurt again.

    Can you say soft?

    Signed, unhappy Ravens fan

    Its called over compensation.
Same reason your ankle gets sore when the other one is sprained.

Ozzie loves him some first round wide-outs…

Dude has the knees and hairline of a 70 year old man.

I love when people confuse durability with toughness.

Please be okay. I’m tired of all this drama. I just want to see Breshad get on the field and play, and the only thing we hear after that is how awesome he is.

He doesn’t have a hairline, he shaved his head and now he’s bald.

You’re no Ravens fan. What this is called, is overreacting. He has a sore calf and takes a day off from practice and you start getting in your feelings about it. Go away.
