The Bills haven’t made many plays, but they’re leading the Jets because they’ve made three big plays.

Tyrod Taylor rolled out and found Greg Salas, who got behind the defense and coasted for a 71-yard touchdown after catching Taylor’s pass just a few plays into the third quarter. Then Bills cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman scooped up a Jalin Marshall fumble and returned it 36 yards for a touchdown.

Just four minutes into the third quarter the Bills hold a 24-20 lead.

The turnover was the Bills’ first defensive stop in the game. Linebacker Preston Brown made the hit on Marshall that forced the fumble.

The Jets at halftime ruled guard James Carpenter (calf) and linebacker Erin Henderson (foot) out for the rest of the game. Wesley Johnson has replaced Carpenter at guard.
