Breshad Perriman back at practice

Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman’s rookie season was a washout when a knee injury suffered early in the summer wound up keeping him off the field for the entire year.

That injury was initially described as being on the minor side and Perriman then missed much of the team’s work this offseason with another knee issue, so his absence from Wednesday’s practice was cause for some concern even if the reported reason was a minor calf issue.

Minor appears to be a more apt description of this issue, however. According to multiple reports from Ravens practice, Perriman is back on the field and working without apparent difficulty. That should leave him on track to play against the Browns in Week Two after catching one pass for 35 yards in his first regular season outing.

Linebacker Elvis Dumervil remains out of practice for the Ravens. Dumervil had foot surgery in the offseason and did not play in the season opener.
