Ravens outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil didn’t practice again Thursday and seems likely to miss another game Sunday when the Ravens play in Cleveland.
Dumervil, 32, is still recovering from offseason foot surgery. He told reporters in Baltimore that it’s a matter of “pain control” while trying to overcome a setback in his rehab.
A five-time Pro Bowler, Dumervil had six sacks last season and had 17 sacks for the Ravens in 2014. Dumervil tweeted Thursday that he “will be back ASAP.”
The Ravens also practiced without outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith and running back Kenneth Dixon Thursday for the second consecutive day. Outside linebacker Terrell Suggs and guard Marshal Yanda got a standard veteran day off but are healthy and expected to play Sunday.
