The Giants only had one player listed on Wednesday’s practice report as defensive tackle Robert Thomas sat out with an illness, but Thursday’s edition will have a bigger name on it.

Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was held out of the team’s session because of a sore shoulder. It’s not clear if that’s a result of anything that happened in Wednesday’s practice.

Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record reports that the team does not consider the issue to be a “big deal,” but that Pierre-Paul is expected to be out for Friday’s practice as well before returning for Saturday’s lighter workout and Sunday’s game against the Saints.

Pierre-Paul played all but two snaps on defense in last Sunday’s win over the Cowboys. He had six tackles and hurried Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott a couple of times during the game.

Another JPP article, the mental midgets can trot out their lame and oh so original fireworks and hand/finger references to show us how clever they aren’t

No worries, they give him a shot of Toradol or some other legal, NFL approved pain killer and he will do his thing Sunday.

If you would rather play another sport than quarterback, then you really don’t love football. Just go away.
