The Jets fumbled and bumbled and ultimately got three points out of the game’s first drive.
They chewed up more than half of the first quarter on a strange opening drive and lead the Bills, 3-0. The Bills’ defense tightened in the red zone after giving up a pair of third-down conversions to Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa and having a third down sack negated by a defensive holding call.
This one wasn’t advertised as being super pretty, and so far it’s not.
Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick fumbled twice on the opening drive but the Jets got both of them. Officially, the drive covered 65 yards in 15 plays over 8:19 before Nick Folk kicked a 28-yard field goal.
