The Jaguars won’t have the guy they planned on being their leading rusher for at least another week.

Per Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union, the Jaguars have ruled running back Chris Ivory out for another week, after he spent a few days in the hospital earlier this week.

It’s hardly a surprise that he won’t play against the Chargers this week, since he hasn’t practiced since rejoining the team after an unspecified emergency situation.

Cornerback Prince Amukamara will also be out this week because of a hamstring strain. He didn’t practice this week.

The good news was they got right tackle Jeremy Parnell (thigh) and Dante Fowler (illness) back on the practice field.

But the lack of Amukamara will test their depth, since Aaron Colvin is serving the second game of his four-game suspension.
