Lions’ DeAndre Levy doubtful for Sunday vs. Titans

Last year, Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy played in just one game, missing 15 with a hip injury. This year, Levy played in one game — and is now out again with an injury.

Levy is listed as doubtful, which means he almost certainly won’t play on Sunday against the Titans. Levy did not practice at all this week, although the Lions’ coaches previously said they were expecting to have him on the field on Sunday.

Although Levy didn’t show any signs of being hurt during last week’s win over the Colts, it was announced after the game that he had suffered a quadricep injury.

The Lions signed Levy to a four-year, $33.8 million contract last year. Eventually they may get some value back from that expense, but at the moment it has to be frustrating in Detroit that Levy can’t stay on the field.

I want to say this matters but it doesn’t. If Mariota plays great oline implodes or secondary gets killed. If restbof team plays great mariota closes his eyes and throws ball to other team. We r cursed have been since coming up a yard short in super bowl 34. This is coming from a die hard titans fams whos been around since day 1. Stafford os gonna go like 31/36 for 323 4tds and 1 int. and detroit beats us 31-17. This season may be longer than whisenhunts last 1. We cant even compete in the afc south.

I’m hoping for the best but planning for the worst. The Lions are thin enough as it is at linebacker. We need him back……….AND HEALTHY!

We need him healthy. We’re thin enough at Linebacker.
