Saints rule Hill, Ellerbe out; Armstead questionable

Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (quad) and tight end Josh Hill (ankle) are among the players the Saints list as out for Sunday’s game at the Giants.

Starting left tackle Terron Armstead (quad) is listed as questionable and was limited through the practice week. The Saints don’t want to have to face the Giants’ upgraded pass rush without Armstead, who’s been playing through his quad issue.

Also out is starting cornerback Delvin Breaux, who suffered a broken fibula last week and is out indefinitely. Hill, who’s listed as the team’s No. 2 tight end, was also injured in last week’s game.

Ellerbe, the starting weakside linebacker, suffered the injury in the preseason and hasn’t practiced since last month.
