The Colts added wide receiver T.Y. Hilton to their injury report on Thursday as a non-participant in practice because of a knee injury, but it doesn’t appear to be a major issue.
Hilton is back on the practice field Friday as the Colts go through their final practice before heading to Denver to face the Broncos on Sunday afternoon. The team will release its final injury report with designations for that game later on Friday, but his return to the field suggests it will be a surprise if Hilton is listed as anything other than questionable if he’s listed at all.
Hilton was the Colts’ leading receiver last weekend and having him in the lineup is obviously a plus for the Colts’ chances of avoiding an 0-2 start to the season.
Cornerback Darius Butler and safety Clayton Geathers also practiced on Friday, continuing on their paths back to the lineup after missing the opening game of the season. Cornerbacks Patrick Robinson and Vontae Davis remain out of action, however, so the secondary will still be shorthanded.
