Browns center Cameron Erving was treated by paramedics in the team’s locker room following Sunday’s loss to the Ravens, then taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
The Browns announced about an hour after the game that Erving had experienced cramps and discomfort in his chest. He was taken to the hospital for further testing.
A team statement said Erving is in stable condition.
Erving left the game late in the fourth quarter. A first-round pick in 2015, Erving is in his first year as the team’s starting center.
