Getty ImagesA bad day for Jacksonville hasn’t gotten any better in the second half.
The Chargers show no signs of blowing another lead after building a 21-0 halftime edge into a 35-point lead through three quarters and now the Jaguars have seen their left tackle carted off the field.
Kelvin Beachum appeared to get kicked in the head during a play late in the third quarter and remained down on the ground at the end of the play. Medical personnel came to his side and Beachum was strapped to a back board before being put on the back of a cart to exit the game.
It’s the second scene like that during Sunday’s games. Saints cornerback P.J. Williams also needed to be immobilized after taking a blow to the head. He has been diagnosed with a concussion, but appears to have avoided any spinal damage.
UPDATE 7:05 p.m. ET: Beachum has been diagnosed with a concussion and an annoucement during the CBS broadcast said he is moving his fingers.
Poor Jags. Letting Moby Pack get away broke their heart and sapped their will.
Glad he’s ok. He seems like a genuinely good guy.
Glad the Steelers didn’t sign him.
Steelcurtain, as a life long die hard steelers fan I am glad Beachum is fine, guy was a quality person and quality player for the steelers and comments like yours make all of steeler nation look bad.
